CTET and NTA examinations
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in India to determine the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions in government and private schools.
CTET Age Limit for July 2025
As per the CTET Eligibility requirements, the age of the applicants must be within the following limit:
- Minimum Age- 17 years.
- Maximum Age- No limit.
As such, there are no age-limit criteria mentioned in the official notification released by CTET in the previous notification. However, candidates must be in possession of the required CTET educational qualifications to appear in the exam. Teachers who already are in service can also appear in the examination to test their knowledge and skills.
